About Me

Nurse Nina Velasquez, RN, BSN is a veteran Registered Nurses of 14 years, Content Creator, influential Writer, Entertainer, and Advocate for all nurses and her Hispanic community. 

Nurse Nina is a Latina entrepreneur of Puerto Rican decent born and raised in Philly. Nurse Nina has always had a creative artistic mind, with which she was able to utilize in her nursing practice and opened that up to serving the public in other ways. She began utilizing social media platforms to offer funny entertainment, insight to aspiring nurses, advocacy for nurses in her community, and comforting content to nurses struggling with the traumatic challenges of Nursing. 

Nurse Nina's, "Its Nurse Nina," instagram account has been around  since 2012, through which she provides content creation both for leisure, and for collaboration with nurse related companies wishing to utilize her creativity, platforms, and blog as a way to grow their business.

Prior to the start of my Career I have been an active member of my Hispanic community and have been awarded about 3 community service awards from local councilmen. Below are awards and recognitions obtained during my nursing journey:

• Daisy Award Nomination (2015)
