About Me
Who is Nurse Nina?
I am Nurse Nina Velasquez, a Registered Nurse of 14 years, Content Creator, Writer, Entertainer, Entrepeneur, and Advocate for all nurses and her Hispanic community. I am the main author of the "It's Nurse Nina's Blog." I am a well diversified Nurse and mother of three children (That's a skill, right? No? Moving along then).
My experience in nursing ranges from Postpartum to Critical Care. I hope you enjoy my BLOG, where I give you rare, honest, unrestrained truths about the Nursing profession including my personal experiences with it. Whether you are in nursing school, a seasoned nurse, or are a new nurse grad, there is something for you here!

I primarily serve the nursing community (by supporting, enlightening, and entertaining aspiring new nurses and seasoned burned-out nurses), and my Hispanic community. I enjoy acting, modeling, and art, which are skills that I use on my social media platforms to provide entertainment for my following. In fact, I just released a Netflix series based on my RN life called, I Hate This Place...- just kidding (we do that a lot here).
But I do hope you enjoy my social media platforms, where I provide you with a safe space to release some steam and frustration about the struggles of Nursing through content creation that I use to get across comforting humor, memes, inspirational points, guidance, and insight from my professional experience as a diversified registered nurse.
